MEMBERS CODE OF CONDUCT
- Gymnasts should arrive on time and ensure that they are dressed suitably for their relevant class.They must bring socks and a drink with them at all times.
- The dress code for girls is leotards, and for boys squads it is leotards and shorts. Girls may also wear close fitting shorts.Recreational children should wear the clubs leotard or the gyms printed polo shirt with either leggings or shorts , and for boys they may wear shorts or tracksuit bottoms but they must not have zips. Adults can wear tracksuit bottoms BUT NO ZIPS and close fitting t-shirts.
- We ask that all participants go the toilet prior to starting their session
- All long hair should be tied back at all times.
- No jewellery is to be worn in the gym, ear’s that have recently been pierced that result in the child not being able to remove ear rings is the parents responsibility to ensure that they are covered in suitable tape.All body piercing’s must be removed prior to training.
- For their own safety gymnasts should follow the instructions of the coach at all times.
- Gymnasts must not climb upon or use any equipment unless they are instructed to do so by their coach. This also applies whilst gymnasts are waiting for their session to begin or after their session has finished.
- All members are expected to maintain a good standard of behaviour at all times and must treat all coaches with respect whilst in the gym. Should poor behaviour be displayed on a regular basis the coach shall contact the participants parents/guardians and ask that they be collected early. Should poor behaviour be consistently displayed the participant may be asked not to return to the club.
- Failure to attend training sessions on a regular basis without a valid reason and prior notification may result in the member losing their place.Late arrivals may be refused entry into the gym as missing the warm up results in injuries and disruption to the remainder of the group.
- Gymnasts must be collected on time, consistent late collection could result in CGC having to notify the local authority under British Gymnastics Safeguarding procedures.
- Any injuries that have occurred within the gym must be reported to a coach in order that the relevant accident forms are completed.

Any discipline matters or concerns should be discussed with the gymnasts coach or alternatively with Kerry or Rae.
